Current Positions Available

As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of one of our four sales divisions. You will perform a variety of tasks related to the organization and communication of confidential and time sensitive material in support of your director and account managers. A successful Admin Assistant is detail-oriented with strong organization and exceptional communication skills who can effectively operate in a fast-paced, team environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry
  • Answer multi-line phones and route calls
  • Respond to and coordinate customer inquiries
  • Perform customer follow-ups
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email
  • Maintain tracking sheets and customer files
  • General clerical duties such as scanning, faxing, mailing, filing, etc.


Requirements:

  • Proven administrative or assistant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well and accurately under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in managing client relationships


Job Type:

This position supports international military customers through building and maintaining relationships, managing sales pipelines and contract lifecycles, and serving emergent aerospace needs. Reports to the Director of Sales.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and exceed team and company standards of professional excellence for all interactions, both internal and external, with an emphasis on customer success
  • Deliver business growth by servicing existing customer accounts, obtaining new contracts, and establishing new accounts
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, and recommending profit and service improvements
  • Increase sales volume, product line, and margins by monitoring costs, competition, and market knowledge
  • Individually contribute and collaborate effectively towards team efforts and goals
  • Tailor content of sales presentations as needed for a wide variety of audiences, both internally and externally
  • Quote customers efficiently and effectively, receive orders, and manage contracts during the entire contract lifecycle through delivery
  • Monitor industry competition by gathering marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new platforms, positioning, strategies, etc.
  • Resolve project discrepancies by identifying root causes, thinking creatively and critically to develop solutions, and delivering solutions that incrementally improve processes
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge on a wide variety of subjects, to include military aerospace products, value-add sales processes and platforms, organizational behavior, and industry current events
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for internal use, customer, or client use
  • Iterate on company, sales, and project processes to deliver continuous improvement


Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a sales or business development role
  • Ability to understand and communicate the value of technical products to a varied audience
  • Ability to design, implement, and improve customer- and sales-oriented strategies
  • Flexibility to deliver value both as an individual contributor and as a part of a team
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and driven by results
  • Comfortable translating team and corporate strategy to tactical decisions and actions, many times with imperfect information
  • Strong written and presentational communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to build customer relationships and nurture revenue opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional history delivering measurable results that exceeded expectations
  • Familiarity with military aerospace or selling military aerospace products
  • Familiarity with government contracting and/or export compliance
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree
  • Fluency in a second language
  • Current or expired government security clearance
